If you knew a simple device could increase your profits by $8 to $16 for every bottle of liquor you poured, would you use it? Wouldn't you at least want to know more about it?
Hi-Profit-Pour™ measured pourers reduce liquor shrinkage substantially increasing your profits the day you put them on all your bottles. And they keep on delivering those profits day in and day out.
According to Bevinco, an independent beverage inventory control service , liquor shrinkage losses averages 23% on liquor and can run over 50% in some bars .
They say one of the biggest contributors to shrinkage is the “Heavy Pour Habit” and almost all bartenders have it. In their quarterly newsletter BoozNooz volume 12, issue 2 they bring up the fact that by over-pouring by ½ ounce you lose 150 drinks per every 500 poured.
If your bar staff isn't over-pouring then these numbers won't apply to you. However if you still use free pours these numbers should cause you to sit up and take notice. If you already use measured pourers in your establishment, you're already a step ahead. Reasonably, you're probably thinking:
“Why is yours any better than the one I'm already using?”
Good question. Here's how a…
...proven superior design saves you money
The Hi-Profit-Pour™ uses a proven 3-ball system to precisely meter liquor, cordials, syrups, or any other liquid you can dispense with it.
This increases your business profits because…
» By eliminating over-pours you consistently sell more drinks per bottle poured.
» Your shot size is always the same giving your customers a consistent good tasting drink no matter which staff member is on duty. By keeping your customers happy they're more likely to return over and over again.
» Your shot size is always accurate making it easier for your staff to keep track of how many drinks your guests have consumed. Considering the stringent drinking and driving laws and the litigious nature of society these days, you need to be able to prove that two drinks really means two drinks in your place of business.
» Because the Hi-Profit-Pour™ doesn't leak or spill at the end of the pour. Less spillage means less clean up and the liquor ends up in a drink paid for by a customer, not on the counter wasted.
In fact, our robust pourer design lasts for years when maintained properly.
Simply put, the Hi-Profit-Pour™ measured pourer is the most accurate and consistent pourer available on the market today.
The four money saving patented design features that matter…
» New extra valve next to the main cylinder preventing after-drip reducing waste and mess.
» Unique primer ring channels liquid around the inner ball for a more uniform and accurate pour.
» Three food-grade stainless steel metering balls creating a smoother, more consistent, and extremely accurate pour.
» More robust bottom design makes sure the metering balls stay inside the pourer instead of falling into your liquor bottle protecting your customers and making sure you don't have to buy replacement pourers as often.
Here's how much over-pouring really costs you
If your bar pours a 1 ½ ounce shot, you should get 22 drinks out of a one liter bottle. If your staff over pours by 1/8 ounce on average, you're losing 2 drinks per 1 liter bottle. Based on an average cost per drink of $4 you're losing $8 per bottle. That translates into $96 per case. If your bar staff over-pour by ½ ounce you're losing as much as $32 per bottle poured!
Because most bartenders over-pour out of habit and many do so by as much as half an ounce, this costs your business a lot of money by the end of the month.
You can't blame the bartenders for being human.
Face it, a big part of their income is generated through tips and most bartenders mistakenly assume by over-pouring they'll get bigger tips. That may appear to be true, but in reality most bar patrons only consume enough drinks to start feeling good. Once they feel a little buzz, they tend to cut themselves off.
The reason behind this is the strict drinking and driving laws in place. They simply don't want to get caught driving under the influence. By educating your staff, they'll soon come to realize that by selling three regular drinks instead of two stiff ones, they'll actually generate more tips per shift, not less.
That's one way you can get your staff to buy into using a measured pourer instead of a free pour like they're used to.
Your customers won't be able to detect the difference by watching the pour either.
The Hi-Profit-Pour™ starts pouring the moment it's tipped just like a free pour. It's the hidden metering balls that control the size of the dispense. Not only that, they pour just as fast, so if your specific drink calls for a larger shot your staff can still count the same way they always have with the free pourers they're used to. Just tip again and count up to the appropriate stopping point.
